Ironically, I'm kind of on the fence with this one. On one hand, I find it admirable that you're so flexible that you can see things from both sides and aren't rigidly stuck in any one narrow-minded camp.

On the other, I've had this thought pestering me for a while that maybe all this "I see what you're saying" crap is the result of society losing its conviction, and it makes us all seem rather weak-minded and wishy-washy. Myself included, considering how I feel about this whole thing. As much as I admire flexibility and open-mindedness, I also admire passion and strong-willed people who aren't easily swayed by a simple breeze.

That being said, I think everyone suffers from some level of that jack-of-all-trades feel. Being well-rounded has its merits, but being down on yourself for it doesn't!

Like I said, I always make it a point to know where I really stand, and when pressed, that only truly changes when I need it to (At least, in theory :P)

And yeah, I kinda had a feeling lots of people feel it. I always solve these feelings by telling myself just what you said - "I'm good at being well-rounded, and that is its own thing to be good at"

On the well rounded thing. Yeah sometimes it sucks when you feel that way that you're not awesome at something, but I kinda look at it this way. I never want to be in a situation where things are out of my control. Knowledge is power and if you're weak in an area and somehow it comes up, you might be fucked. Like the other day, I was thinking, man, if I was stuck out in the wilderness and had to kill for food, I don't know how to field dress an animal after I kill it, and would be fucked if I was eating infected meat the flies got to, so sure enough, I spent an hour or two just looking at videos on how to do it.

I feel that way about most animals. Especially dogs (Mainly when they're puppies).

Women are dumb sometimes.

Men are too. But women get upset and then make no damn sense.

So, I was playing Phantasy Star 2 earlier (On PS3 because even I don't own the Genesis cartridge), and I got to the part where Nei died fighting Neifirst. The music was just so emotional, and the fact that a character you knew since the beginning of the game (She was actually my favorite character) died... well that just made something in me snap. I cried during the whole rematch against Neifirst (Where you had 3 party members).

Video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQ0S2n4sWRs

Yeah, I cry at sad anime and video game moments, and most of you will probably be calling me a dork or whatever, but at least I can admit it. Anybody else? (C'mon, I know at least one of you does too.)

Nei was my favorite char in PS2, I think it was a bigger impact when it was Alis in PS4. Good story and characterization does this to you (I need not really mention the infamous FF7 end of disk 1 event).

Yeah, I also think Alys' death in PS4 is sadder. She was my favorite character in PS4.
And Nei was my favorite character in PS2.
WHY SEGA, WHY!!!!!????
