What would you get your degree in? Do you have any idea in what you'd like to go back to school for? If so where?

I figured that everyone would be exhausted with Mega Man after 3 is over. I did remember talks of doing X but there was hesitation. I just wonder how the transition from Megas to Belmonts would work. All new website? Does The Megas' name stay? Actually just ignore those questions. That's too far down the road.

YES YES YES YES. That would be cool. I know that Entertainment System / Rare Candy were making a super group between the two but I don't think they were going to do anything VG related WHICH IS A HUGE BUMMER.

To answer the questions I think I can answer... I've always been interested in Psychology, and lately I've been looking into Physical Therapy... so, something like that. -
When The Belmonts happen I'm assuming it will be called... "The Belmonts" and probably be treated as a whole new band. Kind of like when Green Day released the Foxborough Hot Tubs record.

I got my degree in that and Megette (Lauren) is about to get hers. It's really fascinating. I just didn't really want to do anything with it once I got out. I'm going back for something different. If you find it interesting, go for it. Do what you love, because the rest is easy after that.

@Jay C - I've always been really interested in Psych. Did you have a hard time finding work after you got your degree… or did you find yourself not wanting to do any of the jobs you were qualified for?

It was more of the latter. Like, I love people, but all of the jobs I was offered I didn't want to do. I was REALLY good with the experimental side but in order to make a living, I would have to peg myself into a specific study. I didn't want to forever be an expert on how the color yellow affects people or the different effects of computers on language (all made up examples).
I find people intriguing but I couldn't deal with being a counselor. I've helped a lot of my friends with tough things in life but I couldn't do it on a regular basis. One of the things that they teach you is that people just want you to tell them what to do with their life (even though they already know what they want to do) but you're not allowed to do that.
Also if you go the route of psychiatrist, then you kind of become a drug pusher, if you want to have a decent pay check. At least that what Lauren said when shadowing one.
There are other routes dealing with Psych too. Industrial Organizational Psych deals with HR and increasing productivity of employees and the work place. Pretty cool stuff but I didn't get too into it.

As far as jobs go after school, it's all about sticking with your professors and advisers. Those people at the college are seriously your buddies. They can help you get internships, write bad ass recommendation letters, and even line up jobs for you outright. It really helps that you keep in touch with them often. Stop by in their office, maybe even shoot the shit with them outside of school (but only if they're that type). The more that they know about you, the easier it is for them to work with you AND for you.

Well Lauren is currently in northern Kentucky/Cincinnati finishing up her undergrad degree. She looking literally all over the country for graduate programs. East coast, west coast, and some in this area.
I'm in Louisville currently and I'm thinking about going back for some kind of computer classes/programming. I had like a revelation that I REALLY want to make robots. I know it's sounds dumb as hell but I want to do what Light did. I've argued so hard that you can give a machine emotions and I've even discussed future robot rights and why humans are going to fuck up while sober. I get really philosophical and BLAH BLAH BLAH. Basically I really would like to build robots and/or work with Artificial Intelligence.
