You can register your games and take surveys on them to earn coins. You can then spend the coins on swag like posters, hanafuda cards, notebooks, etc. And if you can accumulate between 300-600 coins before July 1st you earn Elite status (300+ gold; 600+ platinum) and you get a special gift like two years ago it was a collectable figurine statue of all the Mario characters and last year was a pin collection of sprites from Super Mario Bros.

Well the logo for club nintendo is mario's hat. But I agree, some love for Zelda, Star Fox, Kirby or Metroid would be accepted.

Yeah! I could totally go for some Star Fox!
Last year for Mario's 5th they should have done something Jumpman related. That pin collection is so stupid. I have it displayed with the mushroom showing.

I hope you went with the Cards, just because I wanted them so badly. I was so close *sobs into hands*

Oh well, I got Super Mario Kart with my Gold Elite and I'll probably use it more than the cards. But damn were they cool, I would've gotten 'em in a heartbeat if I had made Platinum.

Posters seemed kinda lazy in my opinion. I mean... could you really get any less creative than just pasting the BOX ART as a poster? I would have been all over that if they had just had a Kid Icarus poster that was actually new and unique.

Cards look like they'll be hard to read, and I got the really awesome Animal Crossing deck about a year ago... so I don't know if I need more cards... I'll probably get the cards though.

Games are a really terrible idea for elite status. It's supposed to be something special and unique. I can buy majora's mask for $10 on the wii. Why would I want to redeem the reward it took $300+ of spending to get to for a game I can get for $10? Not to mention all of the games offered as rewards were available last year for like 100 coins...

The cards are good, but compare them to what Japan Club Nintendo Members got last year (we usually get what they got last year)

I got the posters because they evidently have "Cool effects." Though I mostly got them because of Luigi's Mansion. I just knew I'd never use the cards and I really didn't like the way they looked, either.

I'm disappointed we didn't get that awesome pillow... Or the couch for that matter.

I hope the pillow is for next year to be honest. Hopefully I can get platinum next year.

So of all the Wii and 3DS and DS owners. I was wondering if you've used your codes? Like inside the game behind the manual there's a code you can put in and get points.
Of everyone that thinks Club Nintendo is pointless it'd be nice if you threw some of those unused codes my-- I mean our way.
Like Mario Kart Wii. I've actually already used all my accounts to add that so I don't need it. (Unless I made a fourth account I guess...)
I'd appreciate it. I'm not sure I can make it to their 'Elite Status' which you get from collecting 600 coins in a year. I've only got 170 this year. Normally I'd already have reached it by now.

In short. Post that you have codes, people can claim them, then PM them to that person. Please? I think we'd all greatly appreciate it. Note these are mostly in first party games.
